Instrument Lessons/Sectional Instructors

One of the most effective ways to improve as a musician is through instrument lessons. There is no substitute for individualized instruction by an instrumental specialist. These expert instructors serve as an ideal model and mentor to assist in your child’s improvement in the areas of tone, technique, and general musicianship. What is an individual music lesson? A professional musician who is an expert at the same instrument your child plays tutors your student. These occur, ideally, once per week, but can occur at different intervals if needed. Smaller group lessons of 2-3 students are a great way to share the cost of the expert's time. Availability of group lessons is up to the discretion of the expert instructor. Can lessons fit in my child’s busy schedule? What about my work schedule? Instrument lesson times can be very flexible. Some instructors are even available to teach lesson during your child’s band class! |
