Volunteer, Make a Difference

Franklin Central Bands is hosting their 1st annual craft fair on November 23rd.  It is an opportunity for us to partner with the community and raise money for the band program. The proceeds from this years event will go towards outfitting the new band trailer. It takes a lot of volunteers to accommodate over 100 vendors, food concessions, event day activities, and between 1500 to 3000 expected customers. Your participation is critical in making this event a success. We need adult volunteers on both Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd. You will receive free admission to the craft fair when you volunteer for one or more shifts.

Volunteer Positions
Setup
Volunteers setting up for the event will assist in setting up booths and providing guidance and assistance to vendors moving their products into the building.

Parking
When our guests arrive at the school, you get to be the first person to greet them to Franklin Central!  First impressions are forever.  Parking volunteers assist guests entering and exiting the parking lots.  They provide guidance to vendors and customers to safely navigate to the correct location.

Entrance Cashier/Greeter
This is the first person inside the building to greet the vendors, volunteers, and customers. They will collect the entrance fee from the customer and stamp anyone needing re-entry into the event. They will also direct vendors and volunteers to the vendor/volunteer headquarters.

Volunteer/Vendor Headquarters
We need to take care of our special guests and our valuable volunteers. It’s important that our guests want to come back! This position is responsible for checking in vendors and volunteers, providing instructions, and offering refreshments.

Volunteer/Vendor Assistance
Franklin Central is known for their hospitality. We want to make it shine at our event. Volunteers will offer vendors/volunteers refreshments from the headquarters booth, provide restroom breaks, and make concession stand runs as needed.

Bake Sale
Volunteers will be responsible for handling sales at the FC bake sale booth.

Custard Cookie Sale
Volunteers will be responsible for handling sales at the Freddy's custard cookie sale booth.

Take-A-Chance Raffle
Volunteers will be responsible for handling ticket sales at the FC take-a-chance raffle booth.
First Aid

This is a large event that requires a first aid station. It needs to be staffed by nurses, EMTs or first responders.

Security
If you work in law enforcement, this will be a fun day for you. You will provide security for the event.
