Upcoming Performances FTCSC Night of Percussion - Wednesday, Feb 26 All Franklin Township Percussionists will take the stage at FCHS this Wednesday, Feb. 26 to showcase their talents. The show will begin at 6:30 and students need to report at 6pm. Students should wear their band uniform. The concert is free to attend so come on out and support our awesome middle and high school percussion students! ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble - Saturday, Feb 29 This event will be held at North Central High School. Good luck to all our FC Band students who are participating! Disney Trip Volunteers Needed for Mar. 7 Color Guard Event![]() Volunteer for Events FC is Hosting - Color Guard event in need! Franklin Central has the privilege of hosting two more events this Spring - the Indiana High School Color Guard Association (IHSCGA) on March 7; and Winter Guard International (WGI) on March 14-15. While the WGI event positions are filling up, the Color Guard event is still in desperate need of volunteers who can stay for the entire shift. Join in on the excitement and volunteer today! Flashes Pep Band - Thanks for a Great Season!Your Flashes Pep Band concluded their season last Friday night, playing at Senior Night for the boys varsity basketball victory against Avon. This season was nothing short of phenomenal, having 80+ students participate under the direction of Mr. Ellinger and our student teacher, Mr. Smid. We also appreciate the parents who support the pep band by attending the games and help with pizza during their 3rd quarter break. ALL BAND & GUARD FAMILIES - Food Contributions for IPA on Saturday, Feb. 15 Franklin Central will host the Indiana Percussion Association contest on Saturday, February 15. WE NEED YOUR HELP to provide food for the students and the many volunteers in the Volunteer Hospitality room. All Guard and Band families are asked to contribute. FC Percussion Symphony - IPA Regional on Saturday, Feb. 15 FCPS will kick off their 2020 season with an IPA competion on their home turf this Saturday, February 15. They perform at approximately 8:02pm. Hopefully, you will already be at the school volunteering, but if not, make sure you arrive early as the gym is usually very full for this event. Franklin Central has the privilege of hosting two indoor percussion competitions and one color guard competition in February and March.
