 Upcoming Events  Click the flyer to order your tickets online! Marching Band Banquet - RSVP Deadline is WEDNESDAY Join us in celebrating another fantastic season for the Marching Flashes! Above is all the information you need for the banquet at Valle Vista Country Club on November 26. Student tickets have been generously paid for by the Band Boosters but please include your student(s) on the RSVP so we can get an accurate number of who is attending. Please note you can now order your tickets online! The deadline to turn in your RSVP and money for banquet tickets is Wednesday, Nov. 13. Craft Fair Volunteers Needed We still need quite a few volunteers for our biggest fundraiser of the year! It takes a lot of volunteers to accommodate over 100 vendors, food concessions, event day activities, and our customers. We are in particular need of First Aid and Safety volunteers. Your participation is critical in making this event a success. Events like our Craft Fair help raise money for our Bands program and help to keep our band fees as low as possible. We need adult volunteers on both Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23. You will receive free admission to the craft fair when you volunteer for one or more shifts. Fundraising  Click the image to pay online Ornament Fundraiser Nov. 11-27; Ornaments arrive week of Dec. 9 We are excited to announce the start of our 2nd annual ornament fundraiser. The ornaments are handmade in Africa with Fair-Trade wages, and half the proceeds benefit an orphanage in Swaziland. Ornaments costs $15 individually or $58 for a set of four. Every ornament sold will put $7 in your student's band account. Ornaments will arrive the week of December 9. Here are the ways you can earn money for your band account using this opportunity:
 Sell PepWear to Earn Money for your Band Account - Nov. 13-16 Hey Parents! Want to earn some cash to help pay down band fees? Here is a great opportunity to earn $, represent FC, and get into a Bands Of America event for free! PepWear is offering us a chance to work in their apparel booth and earn $8/hr that will go directly to your students' band account. Click here to sign up for a shift at BOA Grand Nationals at Lucas Oil Stadium. Spots are filling up quickly - and there are several FC Bands family members signed up already so you may know someone on your shift!

Winter Band Opportunities Winter Guard Try-Outs - Nov. 11, 13 & 15 Winter Guard try-outs will be on November 11, 13, and 15 from 6-8pm in the Annex building. Any student in grades 7-12 is welcome to attend. No commitment necessary, just come for a new, fun experience. The Winter Guard schedules - both JV and Varsity - can be found on the Band Calendar. Indoor Percussion Audition Dates - Nov. 12, 14, 19, 21 & 25 The Franklin Central Indoor Percussion Ensemble will be holding auditions from 6-9pm on the following dates: Tuesday, November 12; Thursday, November 14; Tuesday, November 19; Thursday, November 21; and Monday, November 25. There is a parent meeting on Monday, Nov. 25 at 6pm. Pep Band Try-Outs Coming Soon The FC Pep Band starts in November and is a great opportunity to play fun music with friends and be part of the action at boy's and girl's basketball games. This activity is open to all band students and is quite inexpensive. You'll be given a jersey with your graduation year on the back. There were 8 games last year that began after Thanksgiving and continued into February. That's only about 2 games per month, a very low time commitment. PIZZA is served at halftime. More information from Mr. Ellinger will be coming soon. IPA Clinic Day - Dec. 7, 9a-4p Make plans to attend the 2019 IPA Clinic Day!
