Saturday, June 1 - Drive a New Car!

On Saturday, June 1st there will be multiple events benefiting the FC Band.

At the High School parking lot:
Ford Test Drive - There will be 10-12 new Fords available for a free test drive.  This is not a sales event, no sales staff will be present.  Ford is giving the band $20 per test drive, up to 300 test drives (18 or older, one per household).
Indiana Blood Center - The band will receive $5 for the first 99 donations and $1000 for 100 or more donations.  Give blood, it saves lives and helps the band.  Here's the process.
 
Car Wash
The annual Marching Band Car Wash will also be on this day.  We will be selling tickets for a minimum donation of $5 starting on May 10th.  The goal is for each student to sell 10 tickets.  The tickets will be distributed at the Marching Band Parent meeting.  The car wash will be 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Volunteers
At the May 10th Marching Band Parent Meeting, we will ask for parent volunteers to supervise the car wash sites.  There are two shifts: 9am-1pm and Noon - 4pm.  This is a great opportunity for Freshman parents to meet veteran band parents and learn about high school band culture.  Veteran Parent leads will be at each site to make sure everything goes smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for the community to support the band program at little to no cost.  The fundraising goal for this one day is $10,000.  What can you personally do to make this possible?
